A lighting strike ignited 1 stack of straw bails used by the Iso Board plant to make oriented stran board (plywood).
One stack consists of 8500 - 4 ft x 8 ft bails, and measures 20 ft tall x 24 ft wide and 1/4 mile long.
Snuffer was asked to come in on the second day of the fire, and in 2 days had 80% of the stack extinguished using two 1.50" (38 mm) lines (375 gpm of compressed air foam each).
