This burn was the second one at Rivers, MB. This was a controlled burn providing approximately 4 knockdowns (to along onlookers to view the effectiveness of Compressed Air Foam) until it was allowed to burn to the ground. A Snuffer 8900 C.A.F.S. unit was used to provide Knockdown and control as it was allowed to burn.
The Snuffer 8900 can produce 450 gpm of compressed air foam out of both (2) it's 1.50" (38 mm) outlets, or 900 gpm of compressed air foam out of one outlet when the combining valve is turned "ON".
