The Municipalite de St-Laurent service des Incendies (Que.) has taken 

delivery of a new Freightliner FL-80 All-wheel drive 1050 pumper, equipped with 

a Snuffer 4400-HD (Hydraulic Drive) Compressed Air Foam System (C.A.F.S.); 

this unit supply's 400+ gpm of foam to one 1-1/2" hand line.  This Truck along 

with the department existing 2000 gpm pumper and it's 23 part time fire fighters 

protects an area approximately 45 sq. km.  This truck was built by

Maxi-Metal, and delivered by Jean-Claude Caron.
