The St. Andrews Fire Department has taken delivery of a New GMC Heavy duty 

All-wheel drive 1050 pumper.  This truck is equipped with a Snuffer 8400-HD Compressed 

Air Foam Systems (C.A.F.S.); supplying two 1-1/2" hand line with 400+ gpm of foam 

(out of each line) or 800+ gpm out of one (that's with the standard combining valve open.  

This unit along with 3 other pieces of fire fighting equipment and the 24  firefighters help 

protect 48 square miles. This truck was built by Metalfab, and delivered by Gord Green.
